MI Drive Mobile App

The MI Drive Mobile app is a mobile version of the travel information from the MDOT site. This app was developed to give drivers several layers of data to improve their commute. Users can toggle between details about current and upcoming construction zones, lane closures, and road conditions.

Since MDOT initially launched the app, it has evolved to provide more and more features for drivers. For example, drivers expressed concern about not knowing when roads were plowed in snowy conditions. MI Drive now features a tracking option for MDOT snowplows so drivers can map the safest route possible.

Real Time Data from Cameras

These cameras provide visibility to first responders, law enforcement, the media, and the public.
